Avocado and Banana Puree (1 portion )

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/4 avocado

Preparation:

  1. Peel ½ small banana &1/4 avocado, cut it in pieces and then mash it with a fork
  2. Add water, breast milk or formula milk to thin down consistency
  3. Transfer banana puree to a serving bowl

Apple Puree (1 portion)

Ingredients:

  • 1 Apple

Preparation:

  1. Wash the apple real good and then peel its skin and cut it in small pieces
  2. Pour ½ cup of water in a pot and steam the apple for about 10 minutes or until it is tender and soft
  3. Mix and blend until puree is smooth
  4. Transfer apple puree to a serving bowl

Carrot & Squash Puree (1 portion)

Ingredients:

  • 100g carrots
  • 1 small squash ~50 g

Preparation:

  1. Peel the carrot and cut in small, even pieces. Also, cut the squash in small pieces
  2. Pour ½ cup of water in a steamer basket, add the carrots and squash and cook them for about 8-10 minutes until they are tender
  3. Blend them with a little bit of water until puree is smooth
  4. Transfer carrot & squash puree to a serving bowl

Heart Artichoke Potato Puree (1 portion)

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup artichoke heart
  • ¼ cup potato cubed

Preparation:

  1. Peel the potato and cut in small, even pieces.
  2. Cut the artichoke in small pieces
  3. Pour ¾ or 1  cup of water in a steamer basket, add the potato and artichoke and cook them until they are tender
  4. Blend them with a little bit of water until puree is smooth
  5. Transfer the puree to a serving bowl

Carrot Potato Rice Puree (1 portion)

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp of Rice
  • 1 Carrot
  • 1 Small Potato
  • 2 Cups of Water
  • Pinch of Salt

Preparation:

  1. Clean rice with water
  2. Cut and chop the carrot and potato in small pieces and add the rice
  3. Add 2 cups of water
  4. Cook them well, allow it to cool and then mash them well
  5. 5 add a pinch of salt and then mix and blend
  6. Transfer to a serving bowl

Fish Sweet Potato Peas Puree (1 Portion)

Ingredients:

  • 50g Salmon (diced)
  • 1/3 cup Sweet Potato (chopped)
  • ¼ cup Peas
  • 1 tbsp Cheese

Preparation:

  1. Place salmon, sweet potato and peas in steamer and cook for about 15 minutes
  2. Transfer to a bowl and mash very well until tender
  3. Add breast milk or formula to thin down consistency
  4. Add the tbsp. of cheese and you are ready to serve

Egg Yolk Potato Carrot Puree (1 Portion)

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup Potato (Diced)
  • ¼ cup Carrot (Chopped)
  • 1 Egg Yolk (Boiled)

Preparation:

  1. Place the diced potato and chopped carrot in a pan
  2. Add ½ cup of water
  3. Heat and cook for 15 minutes or until tender
  4. Transfer to a bowl and mash them with a masher or spoon
  5. Add ½ tbsp. of olive oil
  6. Mash the egg yolk with a fork and add it to the puree.

Apple & Banana Muffins

Preparation time: 45 minutes
Recipe difficulty: Easy

Ingredients:

  • 1 banana
  • 50 g of applesauce
  • 1 egg
  • 40 g of shredded coconut
  • 50 g of flour
  • 120 mL of water
  • 4 scoops of a formula from Novalac range
  • 1/2 sachet of baking powder

Preparation:

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C
  • Peel & mash the banana with a fork in a mixing bowl
  • Add the applesauce, mix, then add the egg & stir again
  • Reconstitute the Novalac infant formula (4 scoops for 120 mL of water)
  • Incorporate the flour, baking powder, reconstituted formula & shredded coconut
  • Divide the batter into muffin molds
  • Bake for 30 minutes

Pancakes

Preparation time: 10 minutes
Recipe difficulty: Easy

Ingredients:

  • 25 g of cornstarch (or potato starch)
  • 90 mL of water
  • 3 scoops of a formula from Novalac range
  • 1/2 teaspoon of orange blossom water
  • Vegetable oil

Preparation:

  • Mix the cornstarch & orange blossom water in a bowl
  • Reconstitute the Novalac infant formula (3 scoops for 90 mL of water)
  • Gradually add the reconstituted formula to the bowl while whisking until you obtain a smooth & homogeneous batter
  • Cook the pancakes in a non-stick skillet (oil if needed)

Rice Pudding

Preparation time: 35 minutes
Recipe difficulty: Medium

Ingredients:

  • 20 g of round rice
  • 90 mL of water
  • 3 scoops of a formula from Novalac range

Preparation:

  • Rinse the rice
  • Reconstitute the Novalac infant formula (3 scoops for 90 mL of water)
  • Place the rice in a saucepan with the reconstituted infant formula
  • Cook for 30 minutes until the rice is fully cooked
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving

Melon Raspberry Smoothie

Preparation time: 10 minutes
Recipe difficulty: Easy

Ingredients:

  • 50 g of raspberries
  • 50 g of melon
  • 50 mL of water
  • 4 scoops of a formula from Novalac range
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice

Preparation:

  • Wash the raspberries
  • Cut the melon slice into pieces
  • Reconstitute the Novalac infant formula (4 scoops for 50 mL of water)
  • Blend the fruits with the lemon juice & the reconstituted formula
  • Serve chilled

Sweet potato cake

Preparation time: 1 hour
Recipe difficulty: Easy

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 sweet potato (125 g)
  • 1 egg
  • 60 g of flour
  • 120 mL of water
  • 4 scoops of a formula from Novalac range
  • 1/2 sachet of baking powder
  • 20 g of sugar

Preparation:

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C
  • Peel & wash the sweet potato
  • Cook it in boiling water for 20-25 minutes. Once cooked, mash it with a fork
  • Reconstitute the Novalac infant formula (4 scoops for 120 mL of water)
  • In a bowl, mix all the ingredients together
  • Pour the batter into a non-stick mold
  • Bake for 40 minutes

Lentil Dahl

Preparation time: 35 minutes
Recipe difficulty: Easy

Ingredients:

  • 20 g of raw red lentils
  • 50 g of crushed tomatoes
  • 90 mL of water
  • 3 scoops of a formula from Novalac range
  • 60 g of fresh spinach
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 pinch of ground cumin
  • 1 pinch of turmeric powder
  • Cooked white rice

Preparation:

  • Rinse & drain the red lentils
  • Wash & finely chop the spinach
  • Melt a bit of olive oil in a large skillet
  • Add the spices
  • Let it cook for a few moments
  • Reconstitute the Novalac infant formula (3 scoops for 90 mL of water)
  • Add the lentils, crushed tomatoes, reconstituted infant formula & spinach
  • Stir, then let it simmer for 20-25 minutes until the lentils are fully cooked
  • Serve with a tablespoon of cooked white rice

Vanilla Cream

Preparation time: 15 minutes
Recipe difficulty: Easy

Ingredients:

  • 120 mL of water
  • 4 scoops of a formula from Novalac range
  • 10 g of cornstarch (or potato starch)
  • Natural vanilla extract

Preparation:

  • Reconstitute the Novalac infant formula (4 scoops for 120 mL of water)
  • In a mixing bowl, add the cornstarch, vanilla & gradually incorporate the reconstituted formula, whisking continuously
  • Pour the mixture into a saucepan & heat over low heat, stirring until it thickens
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving
